Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using FocusFlow: Deep Work ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

FocusFlow is a productivity application that provides focus timer sessions, statistics tracking, AI-powered coaching insights, app blocking, calendar integration, and Apple Health integration. The App is available in free and premium (Pro) tiers.

2. Account Registration

Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

• FocusFlow Pro is available as a monthly or annual subscription.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon purchase confirmation.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods. Refund requests should be directed to Apple.

4. Free Tier Limitations

The free tier includes up to 3 focus sessions per day, a fixed 25/5-minute timer, and basic statistics. Ads may be displayed in the free tier. Pro features include unlimited sessions, customizable timers, AI coaching, app blocking, ambient sounds, calendar sync, and an ad-free experience.

5. App Blocking Feature

The App Blocking feature uses Apple's Screen Time API to restrict access to selected apps during focus sessions. By enabling this feature:

• You grant FocusFlow permission to manage Screen Time restrictions on your device.
• You acknowledge that blocked apps will be inaccessible during active focus sessions.
• Blocking is automatically removed when your focus session ends or is stopped.
• FocusFlow is not responsible for any consequences arising from temporarily blocked apps.

6. Health Data

If you enable Apple Health integration, FocusFlow will write Mindful Minutes data to HealthKit. This integration is optional and can be disabled at any time in Settings. FocusFlow does not read or access other health data beyond what is necessary for the Mindful Minutes feature.

7. AI Features

AI-powered coaching insights are generated based on your session data. These insights are for informational purposes only and should not be considered medical, psychological, or professional advice. AI-generated content may not always be accurate.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality

9. Intellectual Property

FocusFlow, its content, features, and functionality are owned by MG Business Lab and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your session data remains yours.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MG Business Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Germany.
