MG Business Lab ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Pibo mobile application (the "App"), a voice-first AI to-do list. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Pibo's core feature converts your spoken notes into structured tasks. This is the only part of the App that shares data with a third-party AI service. We obtain your explicit consent before any data is sent and you can revoke this permission at any time in Settings → AI parsing.
How voice capture works. When you tap the microphone, your device's built-in speech recognition framework (Apple Speech Recognition or Android SpeechRecognizer) transcribes what you say into text on-device. Pibo Pro users may optionally enable a higher-accuracy cloud transcription engine in Settings → Speech engine; when enabled, the short audio clip from your recording is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to OpenAI's Whisper API, transcribed to text, and discarded by OpenAI after processing. Audio is not retained by Pibo.
How AI parsing works. The resulting text transcript is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to OpenAI (gpt-4o-mini model). OpenAI returns the parsed task structure — title, due date, category, priority, sub-tasks — which Pibo then writes to your local task list. The transcript exists only in transit and is not stored by Pibo.
What is NOT shared. We do not send your other tasks, your calendar events, your contacts, your account credentials, device identifiers, or any analytics data to OpenAI. Only the single recording you just initiated, and only when you have granted AI permission, is shared.
OpenAI's protections. OpenAI processes the transcripts and (optional) audio described above as a data processor on our behalf under the OpenAI API Data Usage Policy. Content submitted via the API is not used to train or improve OpenAI's models and is retained only briefly for abuse monitoring before deletion. OpenAI provides protections equivalent to those described in this Privacy Policy.
Your controls. You can decline AI parsing during onboarding and continue using the App with manual task entry. You can revoke or re-grant consent at any time from Settings → AI parsing. If you previously declined and tap the microphone, Pibo shows a prompt letting you turn AI back on with one tap.
We use the following third-party services:
Each service processes data according to their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data required for each service to function.
Free-tier users may see interstitial ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad delivery. You can opt out of personalised ads in your device settings. Pibo Pro users do not see any ads.
Your tasks are stored locally in encrypted SQLite on your device, and (for Pibo Pro users) synced to Supabase with row-level security policies that ensure only you can read your own data. User preferences are stored locally using encrypted storage. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account from Settings, your data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Local data is removed when you uninstall the App.

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
